Youth Nationals!!

I just got back yesterday from Youth Nationals in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It was amazing. There was so much talent there! I couldn't believe what those kids were doing! I rode my horse Slick doing Hunt Seat. He was so good! This show is a little different than most shows. You have to get in the top eight in your first class to move on to the next class and then the championship. And there are only 2 given placings, 1st and 2nd. And you find out who that is in the championship round. So I was in my first class and I ended up moving on to the championship! So I was really happy. Then there was another qualifying class for a different championship that I was in and unfortunately I didn't move on. Even though it was the best ride that I did there at the shows. So...yeah. Then the next day was my championship. I got in the top ten! I was really happy and I got a plaque and everything! I didn't get 1st or 2nd but I'm pretty sure I got 3rd. :) The classes there were very hard. They went a lot longer than the ones I'm used to and the competition was a lot fiercer. But it was an amazing learning experience and I can't wait until next year! While I was there, I saw an advertisement for an online horse show! It's at www.horseshow.com.
