Late Update!

Woah guys I'm sorry I'm so late! It's been forever! Well it's summer! Woohoo! My horse Slick just got back from Denver. He got top five! I wasn't able to go. I was at a camp. But I'm proud of him! I also have a new obsession. Well I shouldn't say I'm obsessed, I'm dedicated. I love One Direction! They are so amazing and have great uplifting music and are all pretty dang attractive. Scottsdale!!

I'm back from Scottsdale! This year was great. It was probably the most fun I've had at this horse show. I got there on Wednesday and practiced. Then on Thursday I rode for the first time. We rode in a regular class but didn't get anything. Then we rode in an Equitation class and got 5th place! This year, the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show was the biggest in the world! So that means I'm 5th best in the world! Wow! On Friday we rode again and he was horrible. He was crazy the whole time. We didn't get anything. They worked him really hard and so on Saturday we ended up getting a chance to be in the finals! They called 11 finalists from a class of about 17 girls. We were also in another class but the judges didn't like us so we didn't get to go on to the next round. On Sunday we rode in the finals. This was a huge class. Both in size, and importance. We rode amazingly but the judges didn't like us and we didn't get anything. But hey, this was the first Scottsdale where I actually earned a ribbon! Way to go Slick! We have another show at the end of March and we are going to bring it all home. :)

Woah!! It's been forever!!

Hey everybody!! Sorry I haven't posted in forever! It's a new year! Will it be the end of the world? I personally don't think so. Slick is doing great and getting ready for Scottsdale. Fun stuff! He will be doing equitation this year at Scottsdale. Equitation is where you have to do patterns and look really sophisticated. We'll see how it goes. I also entered in a competition at www.horseshow.com. I was the only one in the class but it was still a really fun experience. I am hoping to do it again soon. I am also trying to be a bit healthier this year. I've been working out a lot and eating better. I feel great! School has also been going well. It's a new school-year and I've met a lot of new people. I hope I can get back into the habit of posting new things more often. Thanks for reading!

Youth Nationals!!

I just got back yesterday from Youth Nationals in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It was amazing. There was so much talent there! I couldn't believe what those kids were doing! I rode my horse Slick doing Hunt Seat. He was so good! This show is a little different than most shows. You have to get in the top eight in your first class to move on to the next class and then the championship. And there are only 2 given placings, 1st and 2nd. And you find out who that is in the championship round. So I was in my first class and I ended up moving on to the championship! So I was really happy. Then there was another qualifying class for a different championship that I was in and unfortunately I didn't move on. Even though it was the best ride that I did there at the shows. So...yeah. Then the next day was my championship. I got in the top ten! I was really happy and I got a plaque and everything! I didn't get 1st or 2nd but I'm pretty sure I got 3rd. :) The classes there were very hard. They went a lot longer than the ones I'm used to and the competition was a lot fiercer. But it was an amazing learning experience and I can't wait until next year! While I was there, I saw an advertisement for an online horse show! It's at www.horseshow.com. School's Out!

School is finished! Finally! It's summer! I love summer. I finally get to relax. I love going swimming in my pool and riding my horses. What do you like to do in the summer? Or what are your plans? Let me know in the comments! Have a great summer!

My Birthday!

My birthday was on May 3rd! I'm sorry that I didn't post sooner, but I've been busy. I woke up to a breakfast in bed and a giant panda stuffed animal sitting on my bed! It was a little creepy. I got somewhere around 21 shirts, 10 tank tops, and 6 pairs of pants. All from Aeropostale! I'm going to be a walking logo for the rest of my life! I have a choir competition this Saturday at Lagoon. That's an amusement park in Utah. I also have a horse competition next week. My horse, Slick, has been acting up a little lately so let's keep our fingers crossed!
